Fleetwood Decking Oil Grey
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE
Fleetwood Decking Oil is a solvent-borne alkyd resin combined with oil and other water proofing additives designed to enhance and protect decks. The wax enriched formulation gives a one-step water repellent finish that is quick drying, long lasting and helps resist cracking, peeling and fading. Adds a coat of colour and dries to give a tough matt finish whilst protecting against mould and fungal growth.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure that the wood to be treated is thoroughly clean, dry, and free from resinous matter or loose particles. Clean oily timber with White Spirit. Rub down the surface with abrasive paper to provide a key. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
APPLICATION
Stir well before and during use. Apply evenly with the use of a brush or pad working well into the timber and along the grain. Apply two coats to bare and previously preservative treated timber. Redecoration requires one coat.
SPREADING RATE
As a guide a coverage rate of up to 20-24 square meters per litre can be achieved depending on the porosity of the timber.
TRANSPORTATION & STORAGE
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. To prevent spillage, please store and transport upright.
DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)
Touch Dry: 5-6 hours
Recoat: 16 -24 hours
This is dependent upon temperature and humidity. Darker colors may take longer. 26◦C to 50% RH @ 4 Thou wet.
CLEANING UP
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Replace lid firmly. Clean equipment immediately after use with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute. Dispose of cans and waste paint in accordance with local authority guidelines
PRECAUTIONS
Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Flammable- keep away from sources of ignition. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin use soap and water or a recognised skin cleaner. Do not take internally. Contains no added lead.
